  • Overview

    The Receptionist is responsible for welcoming visitors, in person, virtually, or on the telephone, answering and referring inquiries. In addition, the receptionist handles a variety of administrative duties such as data entry and mail sorting, among others.     


    • Answer Phones and direct visitors to appropriate team-members
    • Forward Incoming Faxes
    • Maintain Faxing and Distribution of Insurance Certificates
    • Maintain Cleanliness/Organization at Front Desk and reception area
    • Key supply orders, as directed, for Elverson office
    • Open / Sort Mail, distribute and forward to respective departments
    • Create Time Cards and Vacation Lists
    • Mail Invoices
    • Maintain Distribution / Phone Lists for Inside Support and Sales Teams
    • Track orders (expedite) for primary vendors , including maintenance of Receiving Calendar
    • Create Trade Show Folders and invitations
    • Consolidate and input data into Prelude
    • Enter Credit Memos and Price Adjustments as required
    • Mail catalogs on request
    • Process and coordinate Sample Requests
    • Assist as needed with special projects

    Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Skills and Abilities

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Basic experience with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word and Excel
    • Strong data entry, communication, and organizational skills required.
    • 1 Year Experience with Prelude or a similar distribution company operating system.
    • Experience working in a fast paced, team environment.

    Physical Requirements


    This is a normal office job that will be performed within the company’s corporate office.  This job will require reading paper and electronic documents, word processing at a computer, and filing.  It also requires using normal office equipment (computers, telephones, copiers, printers, fax machines, shredders) and occasional lifting, up to 25 pounds.
