    Under the general direction of Project Managers, the Project Coordinator is responsible for assisting, organizing, and tracking project activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. The Project Coordinator is an integral member of the project management team to coordinate resources, equipment, and information. This position functions as a liaison between Project Managers, contractors, vendors and other stakeholders.

    Responsibilities

    • Partner with manufacturers and their representatives in order to resolve discrepancies such as missing or incorrect orders, ship dates, deliveries, unshipped freight, and returned equipment.
    • Manage logistics for the shipping and delivery of equipment for inbound, outbound, and offsite.
    • Negotiate freight claims.
    • Prepare sales agreements; Request certificates of insurance (COI), owner-controlled insurance program (OCIP) and contractor control insurance program (CCIP) documentation.
    • Coordinate project related equipment, resources, and other requirements including but not limited to cranes, forklifts, additional trucking, travel, temporary labor, background checks, fingerprinting, drug tests, and pre-qualifications.

    Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Skills and Abilities

    High School diploma or equivalent; Minimum of 1 year of related experience; Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team environment; Must be able to work independently while handling multiple priorities and responsibilities; Must have strong problem-solving, time management, organization, and customer service skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required; Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
