As a Senior Project Coordinator, you will be supporting the team Project Managers in the execution of their assigned jobs. This position provides a foundation for an individual with an interest in commercial construction, specifically in the food service equipment installation division.

This position supplies critical support to ensure that the projects are successful from award to close out documents.


First 90 Days:

  • Work as a liason between sales and project management to ensure a seamless turnover when a project is awarded. Become versed in contract, purchase order, and construction document language.
  • Keep team specific database current with project tracking details and monitor reports to ensure project stays on track.
  • Keep on top of project date changes and current lead times of equipment.
  • Assist in getting quotes from vendors.
  • Print and review pick tickets for accuracy and completion and give to the warehouse to ensure trucks are loaded properly.
  • Assist with creating simple change orders in Food Service Quoting Software.
  • Maintain close-out documents for project completion, O & M manuals, warranty info, and make sure start ups and demo’s are completed on applicable equipment.
  • Administer bi-weekly Project Management meetings with PM and support staff for project overviews.
  • Follow up on Change Orders and/or Vendor quotes when PM requests.
  • Be able to analyze project costs after completion and help maintain historical data within team software.

After 90 days (in addition to responsibilities above):

  • After awarded, do a check off the drawings, quotes, and specs to ensure everything was captured.
  • Assist in the cutbook submission, submittal approval, and all other paperwork functions until the job is purchased.

Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Skills and Abilities

  • Food Service Equipment knowledge would be preferable, but not required.
  • Has had hands on experience on commercial construction sites, preferably in a commercial kitchen or front of the house dining.
  • Ability to work on a team, but also exhibit self-starter qualities.
  • Has knowledge of reading construction documents from drawings to scope sheets.
