Helpdesk Coordinator

The Helpdesk Coordinator role is an integral part of the IT staff being the face of the department, fielding incoming calls for the technicians, and prioritizing helpdesk tickets. This is a first shift position with a focus on general Helpdesk support and responsiveness to users.

• Answering incoming helpdesk calls
• Prioritize helpdesk tickets for urgency
• Communicate with users through tickets and emails pertaining to their computer problems
• Install hardware, software and device drivers on standalone computers
• Support of ERP (Prelude), data analysis, report writing, and special project work
• Test computers peripherals, hardware and software to ensure that they are working appropriately
• Upgrade software, patches and operating systems on a continuous basis
• Troubleshoot hardware and software problems
• Act as a technical resource to assist users with resolving computer software and hardware issues
• Train users on new software, hardware, and new processes
• Maintain documentation of technical maintenance procedures
• Maintain IT hardware and software inventory
• Participate in some project role

• Office 365 experience
• Vast Excel knowledge with use of advance formula’s, v and h lookups, pivot tables, et al.
• Assisted in or was Lead in Project Management
• Knowledge of current equipment/product on the market of various types to provide company solutions to solve issues or create efficiencies
• Knowledge compliance requirements such as HIPAA, SOX, PCI
• Have a self- starter attitude and ability research solutions on your own (self-educating)
• Ability to maintain focus under pressure and constant change.
• Ability to mine data for clear actionable results.
• Ability to communicate professionally, in both verbal and written, with 3^rd party vendors/consultants, internal users, and Executive levels.
• Ability to create clear and concise training documentation for new software, modification(s), hardware, or process(es) for both users and the IT group.
