Overview

This position will be responsible for the successful implementation of a service and warranty call system, ensuring customer satisfaction, and high level record keeping. This position will report directly to the team Operations Manager, and be an integral part of the Team’s success.

Responsibilities

  • Contact and schedule service companies when issues arise on current and past sales concerning commercial food service equipment. Follow up with service company and customer until completely resolved.
    • Keep Database of all service related events with immaculate records.
    • Have organized detailed info on warranty dates and ensure Company is not eating costs when service invoices should be the customer or factories responsibility.
  • Request Start Ups and Demonstrations for all projects and obtain and distribute start up reports.
    • Keep database of all start up and demo requests and completions.
  • Prepare all close out documents for jobs nearing completion.
    • Distribute all equipment manuals.
    • Prepare warranty information and serial #’s for all equipment supplied.
  • Assist the Sales Team Leader and Operations Manager with day to day tasks when asked.
    • Spreadsheet building.
    • Damaged equipment repair.

Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft programs.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong relationship building skills with customers, manufacturers, co-workers, and vendors.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service attitude.
  • Critical thinking and problem solving.
  • 1-2 years of experience with a distribution company operating system a plus.
