The Purchasing Specialist is responsible for negotiating with vendors for the purchase of all materials, supplies, equipment, and services of the company. This position is vital in managing strategic and key supplier relationships. He or she will develop and execute sourcing strategies in line with business needs and product line requirements.
Minimum of 2 years of purchasing experience.
The ability to read product specifications.
Demonstrated negotiation experience.
Must be proficient using Microsoft Office.
Experience with Quickbooks and Sage a plus
