Overview

The Senior Financial Analysts will assist with financial planning and strategy, budgeting and analyzing financial statements and reports for our contract division. The Senior Financial Analysts will develop financial models, prepare projections, generate weekly, monthly and quarterly reports and provide additional metrics and analytics as may be required by leadership. As a Senior Financial Analyst, the candidate will also be responsible for providing project teams with financial guidance and assisting with the monthly close processes.

The successful candidate should have strong analytical, organizations and problem-solving skills and be able to present financial information and models in a concise and comprehensible manner. Ability to perform a variety of financial tasks including planning, analysis, budgeting and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, Review and Analyze financial statements and reports
  • KPI tracking and preparation of metrics and reporting
  • Assist with budgeting and monthly close processes
  • Develop projections and build financial models
  • Prepare, review, analyze and distribute weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
  • Understand and comprehend key business drivers
  • Assist project teams with financial guidance
  • Ensure compliance with guidelines, company polices and legal regulations
  • Additional ad hoc research and analysis as may be required

Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance, Accounting or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in Financial Analyst role with background in financial planning, analysis and modeling
  • Ability to present financial information to a non-financial audience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to utilize and adapt to multiple ERP/Financial Systems
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills/Strong Analytical thinker with top notch problem solving skills
