Reporting to the NY Sales Manager, the Inside Account Representative is responsible for providing world class customer service & support to customers and maintaining a collaborative support relationship with designated outside sales representative(s) to promote customer relationships, support customer growth and development and ensure customer satisfaction.


  • Execute with a high level of accuracy, timeliness and with minimal errors, the daily order process for designated accounts utilizing the company ERP (Prelude) System and AutoQuotes
  • Handle company orders and audit policies utilizing the company ERP (Prelude) System and AutoQuotes
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the Company’s available resources, products and pricing structures
  • Process and route orders for scheduling, order-acknowledgement, shipping and invoicing
  • Own various administrative tasks related to the NYC Office
  • Play an instrumental role supporting both the NY Manager and other select sales team members
  • Effectively follow up on sales leads
  • Accurately prepare and process customer quotation requests in a timely manner within required deadlines
  • Promote and demonstrate productive and positive customer relationships by ensuring friendly, professional, knowledgeable and responsive customer support
  • Engage in ongoing product and process training as those opportunities become available
  • Professionally engage with management to resolve issues quickly and effectively, ensuring that all commitments on projects are met within deadlines
  • Build relationships and increase Company visibility through participation in Company-sponsored activities, trade shows, and other similar activities where applicable
  • Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs, so flexibility is required

Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Skills and Abilities

  • Education / Experience: High School or GED equivalent or 1+ years of equivalent work experience
  • Competencies: Energetic, positive attitude, ability to work independently, or with others in a team environment, detail oriented, problem solving and critical thinking, excellent verbal & written communication skills and ability to work under pressure while maintaining positive behavior
  • Other Requirements: Computer and software experience preferred (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
