Overview

Singer is experiencing rapid growth and seeking an experienced recruiter to assist our Human Resources team with recruiting the best and brightest talent available. This position is a remote work, 6-12 month contract role and can be a work from home position.

The Recruiter  will create and execute recruiting strategies, proactively attract talent and explore employment branding techniques to bring awareness to the company’s unique culture. Working alongside the HR and business leaders, the Corporate Recruiter will also be responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing, assessing candidates and to create a meaningful and positive candidate experience. This position is a visible role that has the opportunity work with various leaders throughout the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Secure top talent by performing life cycle recruiting activities, including sourcing, interviewing, pre-employment screenings and extending offers
  • Collaborate with hiring and HR managers to identify area needs and develop positional recruitment strategies
  • Develop and grow a presence on social and professional networking sites to leverage Singer’s culture and identify candidates
  • Leverage Singer’s candidate experience by maintaining relationships with candidates at all stages of the recruitment cycle
  • Participate in university recruiting and career fairs
  • Build relationships with local schools, networks and organizations to bring awareness to Singer’s career offerings
  • Develop and manage staffing and recruiter vendor partnerships that provide quality candidates and service to the Singer organization.

Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Skills and Abilities

  • 3+ years of corporate recruiting experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experienced in utilizing and leveraging social media for recruiting and sourcing efforts
  • Strong verbal communication
  • Advanced networking and interviewing skills
  • Ability to manage competing demands while being adaptable and flexible in a quickly changing environment
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work while handling multiple demands simultaneously
  • Proficient with Word and Excel
  • Previous experience maintaining an Affirmative Action plan preferred
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Prior experience with an Applicant Tracking System required, iCims is a plus
