Overview

Singer Equipment is seeking an Contract Administrator to join our Contracts team.

Responsibilities

  • Handling administrative, data entry and clerical functions for the team.
  • Must know Auto Quotes
  • Analyze project specifications, scope statements, and all contract/bid documents needed to create a successful proposal. 
  • Prepare multiple bid proposals simultaneously, reviewing design documents for accuracy and proposal compliance.  
  • Helping customers resolve equipment issues and operating problems by making service calls to authorized service agents.
  • Collecting and providing to customers the operating manuals for all OEM equipment included in each job, along with a list of all authorized service agents.
  • Order expediting
  • Assist Sales Team Leader with day-to-day tasks when asked

Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Skills and Abilities

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years of related experience
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required.
  • Customer first attitude; going above and beyond to satisfy each customer.
  • Must have excellent basic math skills and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to establish a rapport with customers
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.

 

This position is frequently required to sit, hear, use close and peripheral vision as well as depth perception. It also requires occasional standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and squatting. May occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.

 

 

Standard hours are Monday – Friday from 8:30 am – 5 pm. May require evening and weekend hours as business needs demand. Will travel up to 10%.   This is a hybrid work position that may require office hours in the future.
