Lead Installation Technician/Foreman

This position leads a team of Installation Technicians in all job site installation requirements.

• Manager a team of Installation Technicians and coordinate installation projects; Ensure the installation team is properly prepared
• Coordinate with the owner/general contractor to obtain the project requirements
• Evaluate the quality of work produced on each project
• Complies with and ensures the installation team is following company policies, project requirments, and safety guidelines 
• Provide daily communication to the Project Manager regarding updates and to discuss project constraints
• Provide team performance feedback to their supervisor
• Perform construction, layout, maintenance, repair, and installation including but no limited to caulking, welding, plumbing and electrical work
• Evaluate construction and installation problems and determines the appropriate solutions.  Determines the materials and hardware needed to perform quality work; Ensures project deadlines are met
• Unload and haul equipment and materials needed to perform the work
• Ensure that all equipment is in working order and utilizes the appropriate tools
• Monitor job site costs.

High school diploma or equivalent. Vocation school certificate and/or apprenticeship preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Must possess basic math skills and a mechanical aptitude. Must possess strong problem solving, communication, and customer service skills. Welding experience a plus but not required. Must have experience in managing a crew at a job site. Must possess leadership qualities

Occasional heavy lifting of 50 lbs or more. The position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, stooping, and crouching. May be exposed to hazardous materials.

Work is performed in extreme temperatures both in internal and external environments. Hours require the Installation Technicians to work varying hours - including early morning. Some weekends may be required during peak periods.
