Singer Equipment Company is a leading provider of equipment, supplies and design-build services to the foodservice industry.  We are recognized as an industry leader with best-in-class operations, providing customized solutions that contribute to our client's long-term success.  We are searching for a Corporate Accountant, hybrid role, for our Elverson, PA office.  The Corporate Accountant will assist in the preparation of internal and external financial reporting of the consolidated group. 




  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assist in preparing monthly internal reporting package
  • Maintain and analyze tracking of vendor and customer rebate programs
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly bank reporting
  • Assist external accountants with year-end audit
  • Create and maintain budgets/forecasting
  • Complete daily journal entries
  • Prepare risk/ variance analysis
  • Assist with the monthly closing of books
  • Maintain asset depreciation and amortization
  • Reconcile monthly expenses
  • Continually improve internal processes
  • Perform additional duties that may be assigned as necessitated by business demands

Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Skills and Abilities

Education: BS/BA in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA preferred but not required

Experience: 2-5 years of experience

Competencies: Strong organizational, problem-solving, project management and communication skills

Software: Avalara Tax Software knowledge preffered 

Other Requirements: Advance computer skills in Excel and other Microsoft office programs

  • Must be able to position self to move, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed to perform various job-related tasks
  • Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds



This is a hybrid position. Standard hours are Monday – Friday from 8:00 am – 5 pm



Minimum travel 10%
