Reporting to the Organizational Development Manager, the Benefit Coordinator will be responsible for directing and planning the day-to-day operations of group benefits programs. This position provides excellent customer service and will continually investigate new benefits programs, improves existing programs, and monitors benefits administration. 


  • Serve as primary contact for benefits administration. Coordinate daily benefits processing. Handle enrollments, life events, COBRA, terminations, changes, beneficiaries, and claim issues.
  • Document and maintain administrative procedures for assigned benefits processes.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations related to benefits.
  • Oversee the processing of monthly billings for all group plans. Includes auditing of monthly benefit invoices.
  • Analyze current benefits, evaluating the use, services, coverage, effectiveness, cost, plan experience and competitive trends in benefits programs.
  • Develop materials and communication tools to enhance understanding of the company's benefits package, including for benefits orientations, open enrollment and recruitment.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Skills and Abilities

  • High school diploma 
  • 1-3 years similar experience 
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with internal and external customers 
  • Experience with Microsoft Office required; experience with an HRIS and ADP preferred
