The Compensation Analyst will focus on responsibilities associated with the overall compensation strategy of the organization, including job analysis and classification, job description development, market pricing, assisting with the bonus and merit cycles, pay structure development, and other administrative support of the compensation program and strategy. 


  • Supports the job analysis and classification process.
  • Prepares and maintains job descriptions for each position in the organization; ensures descriptions accurately reflect the work being performed.
  • Conduct interviews and surveys of employees and managers to gather and document duties, responsibilities, and skills required by each job.
  • Conducts market pricing for company positions.
  • Provide pricing support and job description creation for newly created jobs.
  • Assist with annual salary survey process.
  • Assists and collaborates in the planning, coordination, facilitation, administration, and reporting of the annual salary review program.
  • Assist with salary range and salary grade systems.
  • Assist with compensation programs and processes, as needed.
  • Ensure compensation programs are compliant with federal, state and local compensation laws and regulations.

Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of compensation principles, practices, and compliance requirements
  • Good organizational skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple tasks.
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills required
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite required
  • Experience with HRIS and ADP preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • One plus years experience working with compensation systems required
