Singer Equipment Company, one of the largest distributors of foodservice equipment and supplies in the country, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Account Manager to join our responsive, knowledgeable, and friendly team.


The Account Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining key accounts by managing customer relationships and sales.  The Account Managers primary function is to manage all processes from concept to completion under each account and individual job.



  • Responsible for achieving company sales growth objectives through the development and execution of an action plan for the identification and integration of new partnerships.
  • Identify and research prospective accounts within our preferred client target.
  • Work collaboratively with other team functions, estimating, design, project management, and project coordination, to leverage and maximize sales potential with respective account base.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the Company’s available resources, processes, products, and pricing structures.
  • Maintain a high level of communication (internal and external) regarding activity and account status/development initiatives. Maintain accurate and timely account sales forecasting.
  • Serve as primary customer contact for assigned sales/account base. Promote and demonstrate productive and positive customer relationships by ensuring friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and responsive customer support (lead by example)
  • Engage in activities to ensure that customer satisfaction is achieved, while maintaining company objectives for success.
  • Create and build relationships and increase Company visibility through participation in Company-sponsored activities, trade shows, and other similar activities where applicable.

  • Positive attitude, ability to work under pressure while maintaining positive behavior required.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment required.
  • Detail oriented, time and resource management skills, organizational and follow -through skills required.
  • Strong relationship building skills required.
  • Some overnight travel required.
  • Basic knowledge of Bluebeam preferred.
  • Ability to read a drawing preferred.
