Account Manager

Singer Equipment is a leading food service and equipment distributor. We serve restaurants, boutique hotels and caterers. The Account Manager position is an entry-level role with promotional opportunities! We will provide you with specialized training in sales, new client acquisition and account management and retainment. If you are a problem solver, enjoy the hospitality industry and love to make money, then this is the position for you. As an Account Manager with Singer Equipment Company, you will be part of a fun, energetic team whose mission is to serve and sell to our current customers and create new ones.

• Build new business by exploring NYC’s restaurant/ hotel scene hunting for new clients
• Be a trusted and reliable partner to our current customer base
• Be a trusted ally to key external stakeholders as well as internal teammates
• Employ product knowledge to educate and drive sales
• Make product recommendations based on the needs of the business
• Quote prices, convey credit terms, and prepare sales contracts
• Work with Accounts Receivable to ensure that customers pay invoices timely
• Travel for company functions, sales meetings, conferences, and training sessions
• Submit forecasting and sales reports

Essential Skills & Abilities:

• Bachelor's degree 
• A love for hospitality
• Vibrant personality
• Goal-oriented and driven self-starter who can work independently or with a team
• Acute attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential for success
• Ability to keep oneself organized

Salary: $65,000-$85,000
