CAD/Revit Design - COMMERCIAL KITCHENS

Prepare CAD drawings to support the company’s Contract Sales team.  Work with internal and external customers to develop project specifications and generate appropriate drawings.  Revise and distribute drawings as needed.   

• Prepare AutoCad drawing concepts in response to requests by the Team Leaders and Project Managers
• Prepare mechanical drawings, including electrical and plumbing rough-ins based off cutbooks created by the estimators
• Work with engineers, external design consultants and project managers to develop drawings and specifications
• Distribute drawings for quoting to outside vendors
• Maintain positive and professional relationships with internal and external constituents

• High school diploma with technical training in CAD drafting and design
• 2-4 years of experience in the food service industry
• 1-2 years of experience with Microsoft Office
• 2-4 years of experience in AutoCad drafting and design
• 1-2 years of experience with AutoCad 2010
• Knowledge of drafting and drawing formatting standards
• Knowledge of mechanical drafting
• 1-2 years of experience with Revit or 3D Studios Max
• 1-2 years of experience with AutoQuote, the commercial kitchen industry software
• Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, team environment

Physical Requirements:

This job will require reading paper documents, reading electronic documents, preparing drawings and word processing at a computer, and filing.  It also requires using normal office equipment (telephones, copiers, printers, fax machines, shredders) and occasional lifting, up to 25 pounds.
