Overview

We are hiring a CRM administrator. This role will be key to the successful development, launch, and ongoing management of what will be the command center for the entire distribution sales organization.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities

  • System configuration and management: Assist with setting up and configuring the CRM to meet the specific needs of the sales team, including custom fields, pipelines, and automation workflows.
  • Data Management: Ensure data integrity within the CRM system by implementing data hygiene best practices, managing data imports and exports, and resolving any data quality issues.
  • Integration Management: Work with IT and third-party vendors to ensure seamless and functional integration between HubSpot and other systems such as ERP, ecommerce, quoting software, and product information management systems. To act as a translator between sales and the tech teams that intended functionality needed by the sales team is understood and properly designed.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Help in creating custom reports and dashboards to track key sales metrics, analyze sales performance, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Workflow Optimization: Continuously review and optimize sales processes within CRM to improve efficiency and effectiveness, leveraging automation features where possible.
  • Collaboration with Sales Leadership: Collaborate with sales leadership to understand business objectives and provide insights and recommendations for optimizing sales strategies and tools within CRM and to continually be improving functionality based on feedback
  • Sales Enablement: Managing the “sales enablement” portion of the CRM to ensure all resources are up to date, that the most used resources float to the top, and that missing resources are made available.

Secondary responsibilities

  • Customer Segmentation and Targeting: Utilize CRM data to segment customers based on various criteria such as purchase history, demographics, or behavior, and provide insights to the sales team for targeted marketing and sales efforts.
  • Lead Generation and Qualification: Help develop strategies for lead generation and qualification using CRM data, and implement lead scoring systems to prioritize leads based on their likelihood to convert into customers.
  • Marketing Integration: Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure alignment between sales and marketing efforts, and leverage CRM data to track the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Forecasting and Predictive Analytics: Use historical sales data and trends to create sales forecasts and predictive models, helping sales leadership make informed decisions about resource allocation and goal setting.
  • Sales Reporting and Win-Loss Analysis: identify areas where we are losing business with customers or segments that are underserved and help develop campaigns and resources to win business in those areas.

Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Skills and Abilities

  • Ownership mentality: Willingness to take ownership of projects and initiative and move projects forward independently.
  • Strong Technical Skills: Proficiency in using and configuring CRM systems, as well as understanding of integrations with other systems. Experience with Hubspot a plus
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Ability to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to improve system functionality and user experience.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication is essential for providing training and support to sales team members, as well as collaborating with other departments and external vendors.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail is critical for ensuring data accuracy and integrity within the CRM system.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing business requirements and priorities, as well as learn and implement new features and functionalities within the CRM system.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to sales leadership.
  • Customer Focus: Understanding the needs and challenges of both internal users (sales team) and external customers to ensure the CRM system effectively supports their goals and objectives.
