Overview

The Equipment Delivery Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery process of equipment, ensuring timely, accurate, and safe delivery to customers. This role involves managing relationships with 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) providers and third-party vendors to ensure effective coordination of deliveries, receiving, resolving delivery issues, and maintaining optimal service levels. The supervisor will play a key role in streamlining logistics processes and ensuring compliance with company standards.

Responsibilities

  • Supervision of Delivery Operations:
    • Oversee and manage daily equipment deliveries to various locations.
    • Ensure all deliveries are executed in accordance with customer requirements and delivery schedules.
    • Monitor and review the performance of delivery teams and third-party vendors, ensuring SLAs (Service Level Agreements) are met.
  • Vendor and 3PL Management:
    • Coordinate and manage relationships with 3PL providers and third-party delivery vendors.
    • Work closely with 3PL companies to optimize routes, reduce delivery times, and manage delivery costs.
    • Assist in negotiating ervice terms, and delivery expectations with third-party vendors to ensure quality service.
  • Problem Resolution:
    • Address and resolve delivery issues, delays, or any discrepancies in delivery operations.
    • Investigate customer complaints related to equipment delivery and implement corrective actions.
    • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors to ensure delivery problems are addressed promptly.

 

Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Skills and Abilities

  • 3-5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or delivery operations.
  • Proven experience managing relationships with 3PL providers and third-party vendors.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proven experience developing schedules and timelines for projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • The ability to multi-task.
  • The ability to work in a high-pressure environment.

Salary is $65K-$72K.
