Responsibilities

The Internal Brand and Communications Specialist is responsible for creative and strategic communication within the organization.  This role is a central part in shaping employee experience through thoughtful storytelling, compelling visuals, and engaging content across digital and physical touchpoints. This role combines elements of marketing, HR, and design to promote a cohesive and informed workforce. This role is essential in ensuring that employees stay updated on company news, initiatives, and events, fostering a culture of transparency and collaboration.  A core responsibility of this position is to partner directly with the CEO to craft high-impact presentations that communication vision, performance and cultural messages across the organization.

  • CEO Presentation Design: Collaborate closely with the CEO to design, write and refine visually stunning and strategically aligned presentations.
  • Culture & Values Amplification: Partner with leadership to ensure values, vision, and purpose are woven into communications and employee experiences.
  • HRIS Intranet: Own the look and feel of Dayforce Hub applying strong graphic design skills and content.
  • Content & Visual Creation: Design eye-catching, on-brand graphics and multimedia content for digital campaigns, social media, internal communications, and recruitment materials.
  • Brand Visual Consistency: Ensure all employer branding assets—job posts, presentation decks, social posts, career pages, etc.—are visually consistent and reflect the company’s tone, style, and identity.
  • Employee Engagement: Organize and promote events, campaigns, and recognition programs that foster employee engagement and boost morale.
  • Support Leadership Communications: Assist in drafting and distributing communications from leadership, ensuring consistent tone and clarity.
  • Maintain Communication Channels: Manage and maintain internal communication platforms such as the company intranet, Slack channels, email newsletters, etc.
  • Collaborate with Departments: Work closely with HR, Marketing, and other departments to ensure alignment in messaging and communication efforts.
  • Monitor and Evaluate Effectiveness: Measure and assess the effectiveness of internal communication strategies and propose improvements where necessary.
  • Crisis Communication: Assist in managing internal communication during crises, ensuring accurate and timely dissemination of information.

Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Skills and Abilities

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in communications, marketing, or a related field, with a preferred focus on internal communications.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong proficiency in presentation design tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Canva)
    • Strong project management and organizational skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and content management systems.
    • Familiarity with internal communication tools such as intranet platforms, email marketing tools, and social media.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in change management communication.
  • Knowledge of employee engagement strategies.
  • Basic graphic design or video editing skills.
  • Experience with analytics tools to measure communication effectiveness.

Work Environment:

This position typically operates in an office environment but may require occasional travel for company events or meetings. Flexible work options, such as remote work, may be available depending on company policy.

 

Work Location: Bellmwar, NJ / Hybrid - Remote

Compensation: $80K - $85K
