Responsibilities

As an Equipment Sales Coordinator, you’ll support our Distribution division equipment sales efforts by managing proposal development, project timelines, and after-sales coordination for commercial kitchen equipment. You will work closely with Equipment Specialists, inside sales, vendors, and customers to ensure seamless project execution. This role offers hands-on exposure to sales, marketing, and project management—and a clear path for advancement into sales, engineering, or other Singer business functions. The individual will report to the Director of Equipment Sales.

 

  • Project Coordination: Collect requirements from sales reps, vendors, and customers; organize and document project details.
  • Proposal & Estimate Creation: Use AutoQuotes to build accurate proposals, estimates, ordering documents, and shipping schedules.
  • Timeline Management: Develop and track project schedules to guarantee on-time delivery of goods and services.
  • After-Sales Support: Initiate and follow up on service, demo, and warranty requests; liaise with service providers and internal stakeholders.
  • Leadership Support: Lead or assist in large-scale kitchen equipment installations, coordinating cross-functional teams.
  • CRM & ERP Updates: Maintain up-to-date records in HubSpot, ERP, and Microsoft Office tools.

 

LEAD OR SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES

May organize and oversee key phases of major equipment projects, mentoring junior coordinators as needed.

Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Skills and Abilities

  • Minimum 5 years’ industry-related experience
  • Food service equipment knowledge
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Auto Quotes, HubSpot and other AI tools
  • The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 3-year experience in a customer-facing role identifying and addressing customer needs
  • Must be able to travel up to 20%

  • Other Requirements: Computer and software proficiency (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, CRM, ERP), valid driver’s license

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Must be able to ascend and descend stairs to perform various job-related tasks, if necessary
  • Must be able to position self to stand, move, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed to perform various job-related tasks

 

Work Location: NJ, NY, PA / Remote

Compensation: $60K-$80K + 10% Annual Bonus
